Do
you help in your community? Do you strive to make life a little bit better for
others? Do you like that feeling you get when you volunteer and help
others? Well we do too! And sometimes, it’s nice to reward those who
do for others with a little more than a pat on the back. As a way to thank our fellow members for
helping to make their communities and our world a better place, we are offering
three scholarships! One $500.00, and
two $250.00 scholarships.
What
do you need to do?
Submit
a Word document or supply a link to a video describing what you do to benefit
your community. This could include
volunteering at your local school, animal shelter or food bank. Or maybe you donate to charities, picking up
litter in your local park, or even volunteer your skills online. Let us know exactly how you help!
The
E-Board will review all material submitted and choose our favorite
applicants. All winners will be featured
in a future edition of your chapter’s newsletter, The Golden Scholar, so we can
share with fellow members the good deeds you do!
